Lily is a dedicated legal professional and an associate at OAKS Legal. She obtained her LLB from the University of Ghana, where she served as co-head of the Counselling team. Lily’s primary interests lie in Corporate and Commercial Law, as well as the intersection of Law and Technology, including Data Protection, AI Governance, Intellectual Property and Cybersecurity.
Lily brings a meticulous attention to detail and a strategic approach to her work, allowing her to effectively navigate complex legal landscapes. Her experience include advising clients on legal compliance, regulatory and licensing matters, conducting due diligence for diverse businesses , negotiating natural resource rights acquisition and performing intellectual property audits.
Complementing her legal qualifications, Lily has actively pursued practical experiences. She has participated in programmes such as the Clifford Chance Virtual Internship programme and the Tech4Dev Women Techsters Cybersecurity bootcamp. Lily also holds a certificate in Intellectual Property from the World Intellectual Property Organisation, which has broadened her perspective on international legal practice.
